Wet Saturday, Sunny Sunday, Nice Columbus Day
Crisp air, cool days, chilly nights…classic Autumn weather. We’ll get a bit of it all during this quintessential New England fall weekend. Today features beautiful sunshine and a pleasant southwest breeze that will boost our temperatures into the mid 60s. Expect some late day clouds to stream in and filter the sun a bit late in the day. Tonight, areas of rain develop after midnight from south to north as a wave of low pressure along a stationary boundary to our south approaches the region.
So it won’t be a pretty start to our weekend. Rain will fall steadily and heavily at times tomorrow morning. I do think there will be a sharp cutoff on the north side of the storm…little if any rain should make it north of the MA/NH border.
